The next North Valley Orchid Society meeting will be held on Wednesday March 14. 2012 at 7:30 PM in the Arts and Crafts Room located at the Chico Arts and Recreation Department Community Center,545 Vallombrosa, Chico.

Have you ever wondered if you could grow orchids or have a question on an orchid given to you? Please join us. We look forward to seeing you. You do not have to be a member to attend! Refreshments will be served.
Our society meets every other month, typically on the second Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Our membership consists of interested beginners and accomplished growers. Our regular meetings include a short business meeting, a speaker or slide show, refreshments, and a “Show and Tell” plant table. If you have an orchid plant in bloom that you are proud of or one that you have questions about, bring it to the meeting. In addition, we have an opportunity table. At the end of the meeting a drawing is held and lucky winners get to take home a new plant. This is a wonderful way to increase your collection! On the alternating months from our regular meetings, we often have special events such as greenhouse tours, repotting workshops, and trips to orchid shows that are held on weekends.
